Ne-Yo Explains Life With Four Girlfriends — And How He Handles The Drama
Ne-Yo is once again speaking candidly about his love life, this time during a live stream where fans flooded him with questions.
The Grammy-winning singer and songwriter sparked headlines last year when he revealed he was dating four women at once — Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Bri.
While open relationships aren’t exactly unheard of, they’re still relatively rare in the U.S., which is partly why Ne-Yo’s honesty caught so much attention.
He’s never been shy about discussing how it all works. In a previous sit-down on The Angie Martinez Show, he explained that his partners are committed only to him.

“When I got with these women, I did not ask for their exclusivity.
“I did not demand their exclusivity. They asked for it. They came to me and said, ‘I want to be exclusive to you and just you.'”
He added: “You understand that your exclusivity to me does not mean my exclusivity to you. You understand this?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘You’re okay with this?’ ‘Yes.’ Okay cool, since you are offering your exclusivity and I’m taking it, now there’s rules that I need you to follow.”
Ne-Yo revisited the topic while chatting on Kai Cenat’s popular stream, saying that his priority is to do what’s best for himself, his children, and “his tribe.”
When Kari asked if juggling four partners ever gets complicated, Ne-Yo laughed and admitted: “Well yeah, there are complications when there is just two people in a relationship so of course there is going to be when you are with four.”

He also addressed whether one partner’s bad mood can affect the whole group, saying he tries to keep his emotions in check and not take out irritation on anyone who isn’t involved — much like you would with a group of friends.
The star even shared what he appreciates most about each woman:
“One is more serious than everyone else, she is the reliable one. If I walk out the house and forget something, she has got it.
“I have one that I laugh with all the time, everything is funny all day long, that is just what she does.
“I have my rider, this is the one if I was getting jumped she would jump in and help me.
“And then I have my eclectic, she is the dancer, she is my artist.
“So everyone has their own thing and it works, it works perfectly.”
